Message	Was coming home from work with a very portly coworker in my car (giving him a ride home) and was at a metering light next to a (996) 911. I blipped the throttle while we were both waiting for the light (his window was down) and he glanced over and gave me a little "Oh please" smirk. Okey Dokey, the lights are staggered; mine went a few seconds before his. I pulled forward about 15 feet and waited for his to turn green, then I punched it. He stayed even with me in 1st while I was working through my wheelhop. (subframe mod gets installed tomorrow) I pulled a little bit in 2nd, then opened up quite a bit in 3rd. I slowed down a bit and went the speed limit until my exit came up, he shot in front of me and took the same exit. He was still accelerating on the offramp (it's a VERY long offramp) so I downshift and go after him. I stopped his pull by the end of 3rd and started to catch him in 4th until we both slowed down. My Z is Stage I+ ish, it only dyno'ed 294... I guess I never realized how many extremely expensive cars I can hang with using only simple bolt-ons. I also had a run with a new C5 a few weeks ago (not a Z06 or I would have gotten my ass handed to me)... and suprisingly he couldn't really pull on me. He had an extremely loud aftermarket exhaust and we were dead even until he pulled about 5-10 feet on me in 4th gear. (he had a passenger, I didn't at the time) Oh well, it's all in good fun. :)
